Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning, also known as Epidermal leveling is a gentle, non-invasive form of manual exfoliation of the skin that resurfaces sun-damaged, dull, dehydrated skin. Using a surgical blade, the cosmetic medical provider gently exfoliates the outermost layers of the epidermis to remove dead skin cells, impurities and debris. This encourages the skin to regenerate new skin cells, leaving the complexion smooth, soft and vibrant.

Regular treatments of dermaplaning have been known to:

  • Diminish fine lines
  • Smooth acne scarring
  • Improve skin texture and tone
  • Help to unblock blackheads
  • Temporarily remove facial hair (hair does not grow back thicker)
  • Generate new healthy cell growth
  • Enhance penetration of skin care products
